James Hare is Britain’s leading silk fabric specialist and produces luxury textiles for the demanding world of fashion and interiors. As their website was not responsive and was in need of a complete refresh, they approached Agency Forty to bring it up to date with a crisp, modern design.
Our design team has vast experience in the interiors sector and knew that the focus should be placed on their stunning lifestyle and product photography. This would portray their products at their absolute best and convey the superior quality of their portfolio of silk fabrics.
We developed the user account area to allow users to create and populate personal Moodboards, by swatching fabrics from images across the site. A new ‘Inspire’ area also enables James Hare to curate themes for both fashion and interiors that link directly to their products.
The website offers full e-commerce functionality and enables users to select and order samples. It has the ability to switch between three countries and currencies – UK, Germany and Russia – plus a separate page for the USA. James Hare is a stockist that operates in the global marketplace.
