Barkers is a Northallerton institution. Agency Forty developed the branding and created a contemporary website with apsirational photography for Barkers famous department and home stores.
Our design team, when tackling the branding, achieved the delicate balance of retaining some of Barkers traditional values whilst adding a crisp modern feel. Sumptuous photography conveyed the quality of their collections of luxury brands and products.
Online, we completely reinvented Barkers presence. We created synergy between both the department and home store websites and made both accessible from each other. Departments, collections and brands are instinctively navigable and there is an air of clean, confident sophistication throughout.
